Sixth Form

Great student outcomes

Each of our students in the Sixth Form at Stratford upon Avon School brings unique and differing qualities to our School Community and we seek to create an environment that allows all abilities and interests to thrive, develop and mature.

Stratford upon Avon School prides itself in being an inspirational Sixth Form. Our aim is to enable students to gain the best academic qualifications, to engage in a range of extra-curricular interests and leave us with good results and a personality and character both they and we can be proud of.

As well as providing access to academic study, we also believe that each senior student has a voice, and as such we have a very active Senior Student Team (SST) of whom we are very proud. The SST work tirelessly both within the school and out in the community, enhancing their skills in a variety of ways, and contributing something back to support the ethos of the whole school.

We currently have around 260 students in our Sixth Form and we operate a vertical tutor system within 4 Colleges (Fortune, Globe, Swan and Rose). Sixth form students are allocated to a  tutor group within one of the Colleges where they remain for the full 2 years of study.

Underpinning the Sixth Form is a dedicated team of professionals to help support student learning and provide advice and guidance throughout their time with us. This support aids their transition to either the world of work, access to further studies or Higher Education.

We believe we prepare our students to achieve the very best they can both now and into the future
