Enrichment Courses
All Sixth Form students complete one (or more) enrichment courses in Year 12. Some of these continue into Year 13.
There is a range of academic and non-academic enrichment options. Some are qualifications in their own right, and some are awarded UCAS points which can help with university applications.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Students who have previously completed Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award can continue this excellent programme and complete the Gold Award in Sixth Form.
Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
The EPQ offers students the opportunity to complete a university-style independent research project. Students will learn a range of transferable research and academic presentation skills whilst researching a topic of their choice.
This course is graded A* - E, and carries UCAS points.

French for Business
A new and innovative professional accreditation, encouraging learners to use language skills for career progression and economic benefit. Learn French vocabulary to use in the business world, explore the business world in France, improve your speaking and presentation skills and gain professional accreditation.

Further Maths (A Level)
For students studying A Level Maths who wish to step up to the next level, we offer Further Maths as an additional - fourth - A Level.
This course is graded A* - E, and carries UCAS points.

Law (AS Level)
For those with an interest in how our legal system works, we are delighted to offer Law (AS Level).
This course is graded A* - E, and carries UCAS points.

Mathematical Studies (AS Level)
If you want to continue your study of Maths, without completing the full A Level, this could be the enrichment option for you.

Sport and Leisure
For those who want to supplement their academic studies with regular opportunities to participate in sport. Students gather for a weekly session of sport, which they can choose from a list of options.
Sports Leaders
This is a recognised qualification in its own right. Students work closely with our PE Department to assist in the running of sports clubs, and coaching.
This course carries UCAS points.
Young Enterprise
This enrichment option is not running in the 2024/25 academic year. We hope to bring it back in time for the 2025/26 cohort.
