Our magnificent all-weather sports pitch is used for PE lessons and is also available for bookings during week nights as well as at the weekend, being suitable for hockey, football matches or training sessions. This facility can be utilised as a full size playing surface, suitable for a 11 a-side football match, or can be divided into two separate playing areas, available for hire individually. With full floodlighting, managers’ dugouts, separate changing/showering facilities and free car parking, this truly is Stratford’s premier all–weather facility.
Suitable for numerous sporting activities, this fully ventilated facility and viewing area are perfect for those who want to participate in sport but remain dry at the same time. Ideal for indoor 5-a-side football, basketball, athletics, badminton and netball, the sports hall also boasts two full size double cricket nets (ie 4 lanes) for those who wish to get in some extra batting practice. Again the sports hall provides a real enhancement to the PE and sports provision for all students at Stratford upon Avon School.
Past activities in the sports hall have included roller-hockey, wheelchair basketball and children’s birthday parties, all of which highlight the diverse nature of this multi purpose facility.
