Stratford School Food

We take the provision of food extremely seriously at Stratford School. All our food is prepared on site by qualified staff using locally sourced food whenever possible. We work with local companies to ensure that students receive good quality products at a highly affordable price.

ParentMail  is our online payment service which allows you to pay for school food quickly and easily on your smartphone, tablet or computer. You can download a free app from the Apple Store or from the Google Play Store or log in via their website. Click on the Accounts section and select Dinner Top Up next to your child's name. Enter the amount you wish to add to the account and follow the payment instructions.

To view purchases, click on Dinner Top Up, select Statements at the bottom of the screen and then select a month for a list of transactions.

Our Serving Points  

As part of our commitment to ensuring all students are well-fed we have:

• A Year 7 & 8 dining hall
• A Year 9 & 10 dining hall
• A Sixth Form café which is open from 9:45am until 2:00pm everyday
• A Year 11 diner with indoor seating for over 155 year 11 students and an outdoor serving hatch available for all students.

What We Offer

Breakfast - The Year 9 & 10 dining hall opens at 8.00am for students from all years groups. Breakfast is served between 8.15 and 8.45am. Access to the school from the dining hall is from 8:30am onwards.

Break - All serving points are open between 10:50am and 11:10am

Lunch - All serving points are open between 1:15pm and 1:45pm.

After School (ASK) - This is available from Monday to Thursday between 3.10pm and 3.30pm.  (Please note in the event of a double assembly on a Thursday, this service will not be available).

Sixth Form - Food and drinks are available between 9,45am and 2,00pm including Barrista specialist coffees. (Please note hot drinks are available until 1.45pm).

 

The cost of a hot meal is £2.60 and the menu changes every two weeks. The full menu is available in the main dining halls, Sixth Form common room and the Year 11 Diner. Students can pre-order daily. Plus jacket potatoes and hot pasta are available.

Grab & Go Deli Chilled is available in all the main dining halls with a reduced selection in the Sixth Form and Year 11 Diners. Baguettes and wraps can be pre-ordered the day before or at the breakfast service.

Grab & Go Hot provides light bites, not full meals, during break at all locations 

The After School Kitchen service provides an opportunity for students to buy a snack before going to clubs, going home or waiting for the bus.
