Mental Health Awareness

This half term's equality theme is Mental Health. Linking to Mental Health Awareness week we thought it would be useful for students and staff talk about issues that affect our mental health. This year’s Mental Health Awareness theme is loneliness and we will be exploring this and other mental health issues through our Sphere lessons and during Tutor Time.

So what can we do to tackle loneliness?

•Do enjoyable activities that will keep you busy
•Try activities that will stimulate your mind
•Physical exercise
•Engage with people you meet in your daily life
•Spend time with pets
•Find people that get you
•Talking therapies can help
•Use social media in a positive way
