Stratford School Food
We take the provision of food extremely seriously at Stratford School. All our food is prepared on site by qualified staff using locally sourced food whenever possible. We work with local companies to ensure that students receive good quality products at a highly affordable price.
ParentMail is our online payment service which allows you to pay for school food quickly and easily on your smartphone, tablet or computer. You can download a free app from the Apple Store or from the Google Play Store or log in via their website. Click on the Accounts section and select Dinner Top Up next to your child's name. Enter the amount you wish to add to the account and follow the payment instructions. To view purchases, click on Dinner Top Up, select Statements at the bottom of the screen and then select a month for a list of transactions.
Please top up your student's account the night before for easier processing and clearance. We cannot guarantee that money paid on the day will clear in time and your child will not be allowed to buy as usual.
Free School Meals
If you feel you may be eligible for Free School Meals, please follow the link below to apply to Warwickshire County Council.
Students eligible for FSM are allowed to spend up to £2.30 at breakfast, including at least one item of food, and £3.75 at lunch.
Please note the FSM amount is available only on the day during break or lunch. If the allowance is not spent, the account is not credited.
To purchase additional items exceeding the FSM allowance and to purchase items at break time, parents will need to add extra money to the account via ParentMail.
For health reasons, students are only allowed a maximum of one treat at lunch per day.

Our Serving Points
As part of our commitment to ensuring all students are well-fed, we provide:
- A Lower School Canteen for Years 7, 8 & 9
- An Upper School Canteen for Years 10 & 11
- A Sixth Form Café which is open every day from 09:45 until 13:45 during break and lunch only
- An external kitchen hatch serving refreshments by the playground
What We Offer
Students with special dietary requirements can pre-order daily with the very friendly kitchen team. We can cater for vegan, gluten-free, Halal and dairy-free diets and other dietary requirements
Pre-order is required in the main dining halls only, and the students are responsible for themselves. Please email the school if your child is allergic to any food items and we will make a note, plus guide them to a large selection of choices available.
The external hatch does not serve specific allergy food.
We are a nut free kitchen. For the safety of other students, please do not bring nuts anywhere into the school, including in pockets or bags. See below for further information for those with nut allergies.
The cost of a hot meal is £3.25. Meal deals are available and cost £3.75. The full menu is available in the Lower and Upper School Canteens and in the Sixth Form Common Room.
Jacket potatoes and hot pasta are also available daily.
Grab & Go Deli Chilled is available in the dining halls with a reduced selection in the Sixth Form and from the outside hatch.
Baguettes and wraps can be pre-ordered the day before or at the breakfast service.
Grab & Go Hot provides light bites, not full meals, during break at all locations. We can offer some gluten-free and dairy-free products. These items are also available during lunch at the outside hatch together with drinks and treats for those wanting some fresh air.
